Hi everyone.I`m Stanley Chavez.I`m from Hillsboro texas.I`m asking Dick Nunes for his weight lifting routine.I injured my 2 rotor cuffs years ago,so it still hurts to do the military press. But there must be other ways to exercise the deltoids.what about aerobic or semi aerobic weightlifting can it build muscles? To put myths aside, would`nt it be a good testimony to have an army of vegan bodybuilders? well wish you all the best God has to offer . your friend stan

Welcome Stanley,

Good to have you on the forum. I just set up a special forum for this subject so you can dialog with Dick on various topics regarding body building. You will see it in the General Health section. Be sure to post questions there. This forum is just for introducing yourself and welcoming other members as they come in.

Stanley,

I would suggest you try lateral raises with dumbbells. Do one set of 15-20 repetitions. Stay away from the overhead presses for a while. Do not ever do them behind your head. Also, add some shrugs to help your trapezius. Overall, I chose one exercise per body part and train with intensity. You can mix the exercises up, in fact, it is advisable.

It is difficult for the bodybuilding mindset to embrace vegetarianism. I wish there were more. Those that have done it, have still had good success.

Blessings,
Dick Nunez
