Directions

From Highway 79 near Hermosa, SD:  Turn west onto Hwy. 40:

Access #1:
Drive approx. 4 miles.  Turn left on 'Battle Creek Road', (gravel road). Go approx. 1/3 mi. to a “T”, turn right, and follow the BHHEC signs to the main campus. (approx. 2 miles off of hwy. 40).

Access #2:
Drive approx. 6.2 miles. Turn left onto 'Red Ridge Road' (gravel dirt road). Follow Red Ridge Road to the bottom of the valley and turn right at the 'T' onto the main campus. (approx. .8 (8 tenths) mile off of hwy. 40). ( IMPORTANT: This road is closed during snow & ice)

 When you reach the Campus, the road becomes asphalt. On the left is Pine Lodge, (staff housing) and on the right is Red Canyon Lodge, (student & guest accommodations). When the road curves around the hill, you’ll be facing the Main Lodge. If you are going to the Lifestyle Medicine Center, turn right up the hill to Hillside Lodge which is the Lifestyle Center.
